The Hinsdale House is located in Hinsdale, NY. It’s tucked away along the mountain side with a beautiful view and pond that takes your breath away. Well that’s not all this home and property is known for.
Tragic stories dating back to the early 1800’s of a massacre of Indians slaughtered around the property. The early 1900’s a carriage route where thieves robbed and killed passing travelers and threw their bodies in the upper crawl space of the home The famous story in the 1970s of the Dandy Family who were driven out of their home because of the haunting spirits that reside on the property. Numerous documentaries such as books have been written and films have been made based on this location.
